The project addresses the question if virtual reality adds value to experimental economics. For this purpose the partners want to find out how individuals react to virtual peers in the virtual environment of the aixCAVE.

The RWTH Aachen University aixCAVE, run by the Virtual Reality Group, creates by a sophisticated combination of high resolution, high brightness, brightness uniformity, specially coated screens, elaborate mechanical construction, and active stereo technology, a high level of immersion and an illusion of presence.

Experimental Studies on Determinants of Effective Leadership
