Profile

Marion Ott was born in Karlsruhe in 1977. She studied business engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and
received her doctoral degree in economics from the same university in 2009. From 2003 to 2008, she was a member of the SFB 504 (national research center) located at the University of Mannheim. In 2009/2010 she was a visiting scholar at Stanford University, USA, and a research associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) before joining the Chair of Economics, in Particular Microeconomics, headed by Prof. Kittsteiner in the School of Business and Economics . Since July 2011, she has been a "Juniorprofessor" (Assistant Professor) of Economics at RWTH Aachen University.
