Profile

Thomas Kittsteiner studied mathematics at the University of Hamburg and received a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Mannheim in 2002. Subsequently (from 2002-2005) he was Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, and also visited the University of Bonn in 2003/04. In 2005, he joined the London School of Economics as lecturer in managerial economics and was promoted to senior lecturer in 2008. Since 2009, he has been Professor of Economics, with focus on Microeconomics, in the School of Business and Economics at RWTH Aachen University.
