IMF Conference 2013
The increasing uncertainty and complexity of the economic environment provide major challenges for companies. To cope with these challenges, companies must now break through traditional thought patterns and develop new approaches beyond the borders of specialized fields. With this in mind the projecthouse “Interdisciplinary Management Factory” has committed itself to the exchange between business sciences and other scientific disciplines.
With the key note “Management under uncertainty and complexity” the first IMF conference in 2013 focused on this interdisciplinary exchange.
The objectives of the first IMF conference were;
- Exchange about recent research topics
- Presentation of the four Research Areas
- Networking with scientists and practitioners
- Initiation and deduction of possible interdisciplinary research projects and further cooperation
Exiting plenary sessions, each led by one of the four Research Areas, and interactive workshops gave our participants the opportunity to exchange and generate ideas for possible cooperations.
